Thanks to the significantly stiffer ExoTex 2 material the kite's entire airframe has been fine-tuned and enables smaller leading edge and strut diameters - making the kite more agile and responsive with better bar feedback. When we say you'll reach new heights, we mean it - the XR8 will take your kiting to extraordinary levels. You’ll find that loops are more efficient with an earlier and smoother catch. The CoreTex 2 canopy is both highly durable and has an extremely low-stretch. These two features work together to give the canopy unparalleled flight stability, power, and control.

The XR8 meets the Exotex 2 leading edge for the first time. This leading edge is stiffer and lighter than previous generations, and it also boasts an impressive 80% increase in tear resistance, making it more durable and reliable. Exotex 2 represents a thoughtful and advanced development in polyester weaving, through both the warp and weft. Through every inch of the XR8's air frame you'll find the use of ultra-strong yarns resulting in a tight woven structure that undergoes a unique heating and shrinking process.

DELTA BOW SHAPE
The XR7 incorporates the concave trailing edge of a traditional bow kite and swept-back wings of a delta kite. Our airfoil is engineered to rip upwind when underpowered, boost bigger on demand and get you planing first! Our latest design benefits from optimized wing profiles.
5 STRUT FRAME
This kind of muscle needs five struts.The five-strut exoskeleton frame is a crucial component of the XR8 design, providing exceptional stability to manage the increased power generated by our Intelligent Arc system. This bombproof frame also significantly enhances the kite's performance in high wind conditions.
CIT MODES: Custom-fit your XR8 to your riding style.
The CORE INTELLIGENT TRIM SYSTEM (CIT) offers you three setting options to adjust your XR8 to your personal preferences and external conditions. Dare to experiment with it - it's worth it.
1. Flight characteristics at the leading edge: In wave mode tight turning and more depower, in freestyle mode more constant pull and wider loops.
2. Turning characteristics at the tips:In wave mode tight turning and more depower, in freestyle mode more constant pull and wider loops. Delivered in Allround mode, the XR combines the best of both worlds with its balanced trim.
3. Backline Tension and kite feedback at the connection points: choose from three different knots to adjust the directness of your control impulses.
INTELLIGENT ARC
The Intelligent Arc is a bridle configuration that modifies the airfoil on demand in a linear and direct way. Like a bird spreading its wings to generate more lift, the XR8 increases its wingspan with a pull on the bar. Likewise, sheeting out makes the kite fold in its wings and depower. The Intelligent Arc will help you rip upwind, extend your float time, and cushion landings seamlessly.
SHORT BRIDLE SYSTEM
The super-short bridle system improves feedback so you can better feel your kite’s position. In the larger kite sizes, this reflexivity increases even more so.
Speed valve 2
No special hose adapter needed here! The Speed Valve 2 connects directly to any standard 20mm OD twist lock pump hose. The Speed Valve 2 maximizes airflow, minimizes inflation times and noticeably reduces pump pressure.
GRINTEX® Patches
Extreme abrasion-resistant patches on leading edge segment seams and strut attachment points give the XR7 another level of protection from perfectly placed beach hazards.
